Alan has passed the Series 65 Securities exam and is insurance licensed in Kansas and Missouri. Along with his team, Alan utilizes superior tools and services to help his clients pursue their financial independence. He implements plans that are in the best interest for his clients as he strives to help them realize their retirement goals and the desired legacy they leave behind.

Alan hosts two radio shows and is the author of “Return on Investment or Reliability of Income? The True Meaning of ROI in Retirement.”

Alan resides in Overland Park, Kansas, with his wife Kristina and their three sons, Dylan, Robert and Logan. He is very involved in the community chambers and charities. Alan is very proud of the fact that Retirement Solutions Group has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Using this philosophy, Cy has helped hundreds of clients prepare financial plans so that they can pursue their retirement dreams and goals.

Cy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®).

Cy and his wife of 40 years, Debbie, relocated to Kansas from the Greater Chicagoland area in 2007 along with their son, Mike Jr., daughter-in-law, Ashley, and their grandsons, Cameron and Carson.

Sam Bass

With over 15 years of industry experience, Sam brings a wealth

retirement goals. Sam joined the team in March of 2017. Prior to RSG, he spent the majority of the late ’90s and early 2000s in the mutual fund arena before making the move to be a full time insurance and financial professional in 2005. It's this extensive experience that helps him look at our clients’ overall retirement picture and custom tailor solutions and strategies to their unique situations. Sam has passed the Series 65 Securities exam and currently holds life, health, property & casualty insurance licenses in both Missouri and Kansas. Sam and his family currently reside in Pleasant Hill, Missouri.

Robert Carver

Robert, a Minnesota native who has lived all over North America during his business leadership career, joined RSG in March of 2015. He brings an extensive background with many years of executive leadership experience. Robert's main priorities are assisting Alan in the growth of his firms, coaching the team, business planning, human resources and building a company culture to endure the long-term. He has a bachelor's degree business management and currently resides in Gardner, Kansas.

Sarah Ingram

Sarah is responsible for managing all internal accounting as well as client service work and client investment account processing. Sarah, who joined the RSG team in 2010, graduated with her MBA from Pittsburg State University and has her Certified Tax Specialist (CTS) certification from the Institute of Business & Finance. She is currently working on obtaining her CPA license. She resides in Lenexa, Kansas, with her daughter, who is currently at DePaul University, and enjoys traveling all over the world.

Kevin Travis

Kevin has been in the insurance industry for over 19 years, primarily focusing on the needs of retirees and their long-term planning strategies. “It is our goal at RSG to make every person who walks through our doors receive an experience that is second to none and to provide them with viable retirement planning options,” Kevin says. Kevin grew up in Michigan and attended college at Northern Michigan University. He currently lives in Olathe with his wife, Kristine, and has six children ranging from 13 to 32.

Frank Schveninger

Frank became part of Retirement Solutions Group in 2013. As a licensed Health & Life Insurance Professional, he works with a variety of insurance companies and can share many options that may be beneficial to his clients. Frank has lived in the Johnson County area since 1998 and currently resides in Olathe, KS with Linda and has two grown children living in the area as well. Outside of work, you may find Frank enjoying his time off by listening to live music throughout the metro area. Frank’s belief is, “I am not just adding clients to my business, I am adding Friends."


Eric Burke

Even though he was born in California and raised in Texas, Eric considers Kansas, home. A career in television news brought him to Kansas City in 2002. As the breaking news reporter there is very little he hasn't seen and reported on first hand. In 2018, after 25 years in TV and public relations, Eric joined the RSG team in 2018 and is excited to get to know our client family to help get them "to and through” the journey we call retirement! Eric is married to Jeanene and has four kids, Jordyn, Katie, Ainsley and Brody.
